CORE · Four capacities underneath performance · Human Creative Coaching
The instrument

CORE maps the structure underneath your goals.

Four capacities, grounded in five decades of research on attachment, boundaries, integration, and agency. Every client begins with CORE: your profile is the map we work from in the first sessions, and we re-take it as the work goes on. I read every profile myself.

Connection

Capacity for being reachable under pressure

Safety that doesn't depend on performing. Being known without managing the impression, receiving support without shame, staying in relationship under stress instead of withdrawing into self-sufficiency.

Ownership

Capacity for signing your own name

A self defined from the inside. Knowing where you end and others begin, so your yes means something and your no costs you less. Worth carried internally, held without cutting people off.

Reality

Capacity for holding the whole picture

The good and the hard in one frame: limits, failure, disappointment and loss carried without splitting into idealisation or despair, and good news allowed to be real.

Empowerment

Capacity for acting from what matters

Moving from a grounded adult centre: knowing why you're moving, turning it into practised action, holding it steady when power enters the room.

Try the sketch

Where would you put yourself today?

Drag the four points. Each one answers with a reading in the practice's own words. It's a sketch, not the instrument: the real one is 37 items, and where each capacity actually sits is something you and a coach name together.

ii · The positions

Four capacities. Four kinds of work.

A number alone doesn't tell you what to do with it. What matters is the work a capacity is currently in, because that decides what actually helps. It's why the same advice lands for one person and bounces off another.

{{ stageLine }}

What meets it

{{ stageNeed }}

A capacity in any position, walking into a new room, returns to Naming.
Start a conversation The conversation comes first and costs nothing. CORE is taken in the first sessions, once we both know this is the right fit.
A growth assessment, not a personality type. In its first trial period.
What it can't see

Two people can land on the same six. They need opposite things.

Both of these people scored six out of ten on Ownership. Same dot, same place on the circle, same line in the email. What separates them is not the number, it is what the number is made of.

Ownership · 6 of 10 How it shows up in a room Takes everything on
Underneath

Carrying outcomes that belong to other people, because a dropped ball is unbearable regardless of whose hands it left. The capacity is not missing here. It is overextended, and it is expensive.

So the work is

Give back what was never yours.

Ownership · 6 of 10 How it shows up in a room Measured, delegates well
Underneath

Ownership stops exactly where blame could start. Everything owned is something safe to be right about, and the risky thing quietly stays unclaimed.

So the work is

Take on one thing that can visibly fail.

Same score. Opposite work.

Thirty minutes with a person is what tells the two apart: which rooms shrink the capacity, what the gap is costing on an ordinary Tuesday, and what you actually want it for. That is why no profile leaves here without one, and why an algorithm never writes the reading.

CORE is a pilot growth assessment. The constructs underneath it carry decades of validation; the instrument itself is earning its own, openly, one cohort at a time. Better said plainly than dressed in certainty it hasn't built yet.

A score is where the conversation starts.

How it runs
iThe assessment
Free · thirty minutes

The conversation

Thirty free minutes on whether this is the right fit, for you and for me. What you are carrying, what it is costing, and what I would build first.

iiThe consultation
Sessions one to four

The first sessions

CORE is taken in the first session and read together: a score in each capacity, a short reading of each, your four dots on the circle. It becomes the map.

iiiThe work
Weekly · ongoing

The work

Weekly rooms, if the fit is right. You re-take CORE as the work goes on and watch the profile move.

The conversation comes first. The map comes with the work.

Start a conversation CORE's constructs are adapted, with permission, from the TPRAT lineage. CORE itself is in its first trial period. A growth assessment, not a personality type.
